DCBC Unrestricted surface supplied diving supervisor

The objective of this program is to train individuals who will be well-prepared for the challenges and responsibilities of a career as a Diving Supervisor. Before enrolling in this course, an applicant must have at least 3 years’ experience as an Unrestricted Surface Supply Diver and have completed a minimum of 100 surface supplied dives.

 

In this program, students will be trained in: supervision and leadership, motivation and communication, diving legislation and regulations, proper handling of site emergencies and accident investigation, dive accident prevention, and practical dive accident management.

CERTIFICATIONS AT COMPLETION

Graduates will receive a certificate from International Diving Institute, in accordance to CSA Competency Standard Z275.4-12.

The cost for the complete course is $1,800, this includes: Access to IDI’s facilities, consumables, and testing.
